Hunting in the Tetons can be the greatest experience of your life!
The rutting bull elk in September is one of the most exciting experiences any hunter can have. When you step into the mountains in the fall in this part of the rocky mountain region it almost takes your breath away. The thrill of a bugling bull elk coming into bow range is an amazing feeling. There are a lot of great guides in the Teton range. You should be able to find one available for your needs here at Tetons.biz Visit Trophy mountain outfitters/horse creek ranch here, or search more outfitters below.
If you are adventurous, you could go buy a tag and hunt solo. There are thousands of square miles of national forest in the area. You can buy Idaho elk tags over the counter. Wyoming frequently has some leftover tags, or you could apply for the tag of your life in Montana. There are some areas in back country units of Wyoming where you are required to have a guide if you are a non resident.
